In the framework of the educational project linked to the Arctic Arc expedition, various themes will be reviewed using small videos. The first set of 3 videos composing this sequence covers the following questions with Alain Hubert: What is the pack ice?; What is the difference between Antarctica and the Arctic?; How does one cope with the cold weather in the Polar Regions?

These short videos and accompanying texts will only give some elements of the full answer. They mainly aim to starting a discussion on polar regions and on climate change related issues. Teaching dossiers and flash animations are provided on the EducaPoles Web site in order to take the discussion further by widening the debate.

Throughout the Arctic Arc expedition, news videos asking new questions will be available. The next sequence and theme scheduled in the educational programme: polar sciences.
