The “Arctic Arc” educational project has just begun!

You can now participate in the educational project linked with Arctic Arc: Alain Hubert's and Dixie Dansercoer's expedition in the Arctic ! The EducaPoles website proposes various educational activities and resources introducing the following themes:

  • Polar Regions
  • Polar sciences
  • Water and ice on earth
  • Oceans
  • Climate change
  • Energy

Please check the "Interactive Questions" available on this website. You can also become a "Polar Reporter" and win many prizes when you submit your work.

Various educational resources are already available through the EducaPoles website. New resources will also be created during the expedition.

Alain Hubert and Dixie Dansercoer started off on a four-month expedition, which will lead them from Siberia to the southernmost tip of Greenland via the North Pole. We will follow our explorers' progress and we will give detailed news updates every week. Following this exceptional adventure is a fantastic motivation for students and will allow them to better understand the high stakes linked with the Polar Regions while developing their interest in science.

Available educational material and activities designed especially for the occasion (educational dossiers, flash animations, interviews of Alain Hubert, Interactive questions, Polar reporters, etc.) are different ways one can introduce students to the various themes covered in this educational project.
