International Polar Foundation participating in Italian Polar Summer School
From July 16 to 20, the Italian Museo Nazionale dell'Antartide is organizing the second edition of the Polar Summer School for teachers, in Genoa. This event is intended for 12 Italian teachers who want to address polar science topics in their classrooms.
National and international experts have been invited to give lectures and workshops, illustrating the relevance of polar science topics and their educational potential. Isabelle Noirot, education officer at the International Polar Foundation, will present its projects and organize a workshop featuring experiments related to climate change.
At the end of those four days, one teacher will be allowed to participate in the next expedition organized by the Italian National Antarctic Research Programme (PNRA).
