Draw your own “zero emission” station: contest results
The Draw your own "zero emission" station contest, organized by the International Polar Foundation (IPF) and Klasse/Yeti (for the Dutch-speaking community) or Le Journal des Enfants (for the French-speaking community) was a success thanks to all of you who took part in it!
We received a lot of masterpieces, so many samples of your imagination and creativity. But of all the drawings we received (more than 200!), there could only be 10 winners. The selected 10 will be flown to Antarctica for the inauguration of the Princess Elisabeth station in Utsteinen on February 15th 2009. Moreover, the winners will receive a "Suske en Wiske" / "Bob et Bobette" comic strip entitled "La météorite mutagène" / "De sterrensteen".
But all the drawings which were not selected will nevertheless be put up in Class Zero Emission, an interactive scholar exhibition to be launched by the IPF in March 2009.
