Here is an opportunity not to miss: a nation-wide drawing contest has just been launched in Belgium! This contest could lead to your drawing being sent to Antarctica for the Princess Elisabeth Station's inauguration!

The Princess Elisabeth Station will be officially inaugurated in Antarctica on February 15th, 2009. In collaboration with "Le Journal des Enfants" for the French-speakers of Belgium, and "Klasse" and "Yeti" for the Flemish-speakers of the country, the International Polar Foundation has, for this occasion, launched this amazing drawing contest in Belgium. In total, six masterpieces will be sent to Antarctica and will decorate the Station on the day of its inauguration!

Who can participate? Anyone aged between 8 and 12 living in Belgium.

The winners will receive the new Suske en Wiske / Bob et Bobette comic strip featuring the Princess Elisabeth Station in Antarctica. To enter the contest, all you have to do is draw your own "zero emission" polar station and send it to the International Polar Foundation before January 31, 2009. Please write your name and address on the back side of your drawing and send it to the following address:
